Door mounted

Do you know how to remove the plastic covers over the base of the door rearview mirrors? Mine are not powered. I see a seam between the two halves. Just don't want to bust the plastic. The FSM doesn't explain this. Thanks

I have a 1991 Toyota Pickup, 2 wheel drive with manual windows. Behind the window crank is a little round plastic plate that keeps the crank from rubbing on the vinyl door panel. Mine deteriorated. Anyone know where to get them or has anyone come up with a homemade alternative. Thanks

My temperature gauge is always between the half way point and all the way to the left or, 1/4 of the way up. Is that normal or should it be at about half way up. If it's not correct, what should I take a look at? Thanks

OK, I got a response that told me how to adjust the idle with the A/C on so that worked. Bought a timing light, jumped out E1 & TC1 and timing was way off. So I got that done. Biggest problem now is a tingley, metallic sound in the top end which I hear when I come off idle to say, 2000 RPM and...
