and I want to remove the plastic trim panels from the sides, where the seatbelts are mounted. They are plastic, and fastened very tight, I don't want to break them. Any advice?
Thanks!
I moved in February right next to "Arroyo Trabuco" ( in Southern Calif) which is an impressive hiking spot. It always has water flowing, and lots of wildlife including snakes, lizards, a variety of birds, coyotes, deer, cottontail rabbits, etc. The walls of the stream bed are about 100-150 ft...
Kenny,
I was thinking the same thing. Also, since I've heard that the alternator output is marginal on these trucks, could it handle the possible extra load?
My '91 truck has the rectangular sealed beam lights popular at the time.
I would like to replace them with something a bit more up to date, and brighter.

Yes, I did everything to keep my pickup from overheating. replaced the junk aftermarket radiator with the original and rodded it out. New water pump, hoses, factory thermostat, fan clutch, you name it.
It only overheated on the...
My Dad left his truck with a abused paint job. Since I can't afford a new paint job, I need to buff it out, but I'm afraid I'd make it worse.
I also want to fix the shell's door lock, and replace the gas-lifters.
Rick,
From what I've heard, running the 22R-series with the valve cover off is a very bad idea. It will squirt oil all over the engine and engine compartment. The engine pumps oil into the valve area to lubricate things.
