Just for kicks I spent a couple of hours at a local RV dealership to see what stuff they have. Most of their bumper-pull trailers were locked up so I just walked through what they had opened up and took some pics and videos. Videos to go up on YouTube, I'll post some pics below.
All I'm...
Hey everyone. My name is Jeremy and I am new to the Yota lifestyle. I just purchased a 2016 Lmtd with the off road pckg. I am reaching out to all the forums in the Mid-Atlantic/Northeast corridor to get the interest renewed in planning meetups, weekend trail rides and camping trips. This thread...

Alright so ill be the pioneer of this group and try to get things up and running. There have been 273 views to this thread but not one post. I'm assuming people come and see that there are no post they leave without doing anything about it. I am hoping to find people throughout the Mid-Atlantic...
Hello all, I wanted to start this thread In hopes of finding people who would want to link up for a weekend of camping and riding trails somewhere in-between West. Virginia and Pennsylvania. I was hoping that maybe around labor day weekend or even for labor day weekend we could plan and set...

Been looking for a brake controller for my Tundra. My requirements were simple: Easy installation, stock OEM looks, OEM wiring plugs with no cutting or splicing vehicles wiring harness required. So this is what I found:
P3 Brake Controller & Harness combo from Amazon. Came with the wiring...
So when I was a kid, it seems like just about the gold standard for good usable camping "stuff" was the Coleman brand. Now days things are different and people don't seem to care much about keeping their camping supplies and good for a long time, but rather they want stuff that's cheaply built...
So my sister and her family (2 adults, 8 & 6 yo kids) are looking to get started tent camping and it's been so long since I've bought a tent in 20 years ... I've got a Jansport tent from the 90's that still works for me, although my tent-camping days are numbered.
First off, it seems to me like...
I was considering getting roof rack cross bars for my 4Runner- as my boyfriend and I tend to take a lot of stuff along with us when we travel (mainly going out camping) and we fill our trucks pretty full. With that being said, I'm curious on the kinds of things that can actually be carried on...
Not sure why, but I really like the way that this guy thinks and how he went about his project of building a trailer on his own. He said that he didn't have any plans for building a camper trailer, but he clearly had seen them and maybe even owned one in the past and was able to do all of the...
We might take a trip to the grand canyon and tow the trailer out there and do a week of camping. Now that I've gotten a good 20+ hours of towing experience I feel confident that I can drive most of the freeways between 60 and 65mph with no issues at all.
What's everyone else got planned...
Need to get odds and ends today. Were about half way through right now, getting ready to finish up.
Dicks sporting goods
Academy sports and outdoors
Gander mountain
Survive tomorrow supply (this looks interesting)
Cabela's
Bass pro shop
REI
Took the new trailer out for a nice week long trek across east Texas and Southeast Oklahoma, week before last, so it's officially camping season again!
I'll add some more pics shortly.
I'm thinking of getting jayco's or an aftermarket bumper mounted swing or slide grill for my new trailer, but might want the flexibility of a portable Coleman grill with legs instead. I like the non-steal factor for the bumper mount should we leave camp for a day of fishing, but I like the...
Wow, I didn't know this. The saleman said that the Jayco (and I assume a lot of other trailers in Indiana and other areas) are built by Amish workmen, and wow he was right. I've got a lot of respect for the Amish work ethic, when I look at how lazy I've become in life and how the Amish tend to...
I haven't went was 5 years ago, before my wife found out she was pregnant. I am hoping to go this summer. I was waiting for her to be old enough and we feel being 4 is a good age for camping.
So when was the last time you went camping? What did you do on your trip?
