I work on towers, FM, AM, every once in a while a TV tower, and even less often a cell tower. We build them, take them down, maintain them, put new antennas up and take old ones down, change out lights when they blow, never seems to get old!

I need to replace my starter soon. its in a 81 sr5 pickup, with a 22r, 5 speed transmission, and it is 4x4. I would like to know what ya'll think are the best, proper torque, longest life, ect. Thanks.

Despite my searching I have not been able to determine if the 81 sr5 came with a ac system. I have found aftermarket kits but I'm really wanting to know it originally came with it or not. Does anyone know? Thanks.

my plan was to use a plasma cutter to cut it out to a simple shape to copy and then use same thickness sheetmetal to cut and fit then weld it in. man it sounds simple, but i'm almost scared to actually think about starting this in a few weeks when i get home. I do like that work, it looks...

Well its a 1981, it has the 22r engine, 5 speed manual, and 4x4. it has resided in the state of Arkansas all its life. Its seen a lot of clay dirt roads, I've had her down in creek bottoms a few times, even pulled out a fullsized dodge pickup after the ice storm this past winter. Gosh I love...
