So everyone that has had 22r knows there are a lot of vacuum line lines. I was looking in my chiltons manual trying to understand which hose does what and to be short I got confused! but I did notice that some models "not california models" have very few lines, very simple! Anyways I am wondering if I could eliminate most of these lines and hook everything up with just basics? I know it will not conform to california laws but I dont need to worry about that as I dont leave my state. what about fuel mileage, is that something that I might lose? or horsepower? just trying to eliminate things that are unnecessary.

Usually you can eliminate ca emissions and smog control vacuum lines without any ill effect, in fact you might pick up some extra hp.
