It depends on where do you intend to drive. If you plan to drive mostly in the city, 4 wheel drive would be pointless. You'd just get a poor mpg. However, if you plan to go off road a lot, 4 wheel drive is the way to go.
I don't think they are trying to copy Hummer. If you look at the old FJ 40, you'll see that the new one clearly is just a modern version of that. I do agree with it looking a bit like a Hummer, though. But again, I don't think it was meant that way.
Loves2Ride, that's an excellent idea. Toyota definitely should use these clips to advertise their trucks. I'm not sure if Top Gear UK is showed in US or not. You could definitely watch some on the Internet, though.
