rotten frame rails IMO...some were much worse than others when they did the big recall few years back as many of the recalled trucks went "out the back door" of scrap yards instead of to the shreader. Some I inspected had no rot at all while others you could see the box buckling up towards the rear of cab

Yea looking at the debris on the floor below the truck I suspect rotted frame rails.
A local Toyota dealer I have ties with wouldnt allow anything from buyback trucks to be reused, they kept track of every truck all the way to the shredder. But Ive heard some dealers didnt have as much integrity.

Wow that looks rough, but I still laughed at it. the cost of repairing that might be an issue for the company but I wouldn't think they would charge the customer. Poor maintenance on the car i'd say
