Why not a V-6?

Hello,

first timer here on the Toyota thread.

I have a questions for the gear heads who really know their stuff.
I was wondering if the Tundra limited will ever get a V-6? I love the way the truck looks inside and out. I assuming that most consumers would love to have a V-6 option that doesn't require a lot of towing or hauling . I did notice that the Honda Ridgeline offers a V-6 for the kind of driving and hauling that i'm looknig for, although it is an odd looking truck design.

I once read that the crew cabs must have a V-8 in order to function properly.

Can anyone tell me why the crewcabs must a V-8 and would a V-6 work?

Any response would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for letting me join.

one moe thing

I shoud have mentioned that I am not interested in the Tacoma. I really do like the looks of it from the outside, however, i believe that Toyota missed the boat by keeping the '08 and '09 package very basic with expensive upgrades. Many other trucks have the optoins that consumers want as a standard.
