What does TAP mean on the 4Runner vehicle sheet?

I have been looking at some 4Runners after hours in our area. One of them I looked at said something about driver and front passenger TAP. What exactly does this mean?

TAP has to do with the airbags. T stands for thorax, A stands for abdomen, and P stands for pelvis. When the airbag ejects on impact, the new models with the TAP system will help to protect these three main areas of the body from harm.

These areas of the body are most important to be protected...lungs, heart, ect.
