Unintended Accelleration Scare in Trucks?

I was just curious if the Toyota Prius problem a couple of years ago, the "unintended accelleration" problem, was ever resolved, and I had heard reports that it was ALL of Toyota's vehicles, not just the Prius.

Curious if anybody made their decision to get a truck or not based on that fiasco and PR screwup? I didn't follow it very closely at the time, but it seemed to have just disappeared from the news.

Did it actually include trucks, too, or just select Priuses?

That's a good question, most of that died down ands most cases were determined to be driver error. Only one or two cases was there really a significant issue with unintended acceleration causing a collision. I'll look it up.

I found this from 7/2013. Sounds like some kind of lawsuit settlement happened.
