Toyota Tacoma Grill Exchange - Compatible between years?

is it possible to interchange a 2001 tacoma grill over to a 2000 tacoma?

That's a good question, never tried it. Anyone out there try to replace a Tacoma grill 2001 for a 2000?

Not without changing the hood and fenders. the front edge is different.

I don't think it would fit either. I believe Toyota changed body styles into 2001 thru 2004 so a 2000 should have a different grill. Maybe a 1995 thru 2000 might fit.
