Toyota 4Runner Options for Extended Warranty?

We have a short warranty time left on our Toyota 4Runner, what are some other options available to owners? Have any of you bought an extended warranty for yours?

Usually, when you make a purchase this will be an option for you. It may be through the dealer or through a special program. You may also be required to have you oil changed at the dealer with the warranty. A friend of mine bought a Toyota at a Ford Dealership which was a program car. She has some kind of warranty as long as she has her oil changed there every so many miles.

We bought ours outright, so I am going to see what the dealer has to offer us for an extra warranty.
