Hey all, My 05 just sustained some rodent damage, I started it this morning and the Check Engine Light was on. I thought it a little strange as I had never had any problems until now, I pulled the fallowing DTC's out of the trucks On Board Computer:
P0020 Camshaft Position Actuator(A) Circuit Malfunction (Bank 2)
P0345 Camshaft Position Sensor(A) Circuit Malfunction (Bank 2)
P0348 Camshaft Position Sensor(A) Circuit High Input (Bank 2)
I open the hood took off the engine cover and found a mice nest in the intake area with wires chewed in half. I see what I believe is one of the fuel injectors wires also chewed, but dont have any misfire codes, nor is the truck running rough.
I would like to fix it myself, but the trouble I am having is this. Based on what I have been taught in the automotive field, I do not want to create any unwanted resistance into the circuit. Should I replace the entire harness or attempt to splice it back together?
