Ricochet skids

My son just got some ricochet skids for his FJ Cruiser. We are planning to do some off-roading in Colorado in April or May. I am planning to take my Tacoma to go along.

We're going to try out the Colorado Off-Road Extreme trail ... it's located in Elbert County. Anyone ever been there?

Is this the type of skids you are talking about? I know this is on an older model, but asking about the general idea.

It seems most of these are made out of aluminum for vehicles. How much did it cost your son to put this on, if you don't mind me asking?

I guess no one has been to the Colorado Off-Road Extreme trail. If anyone has, please let me know!

Ricochet skids are really useful. I love the pair I have. Plus they were really pretty affordable for an aftermarket addon.
