problem finding J shift transfer case

Hello I'm new to the tacoma world. Just bought a 99 SR5 4 wheeler put in a used motor and has been doing great until yesterday. The transfer case shelled out on the highway. After inspection it looks like it has been worked on before or more likely to a lube shop that didn't replace the fluid. Looking for a replacement but seems like alot of variables on these cases. What would interchange,maybe some work with a few changes? Mine has a plug for the speedo and a plug up top for 4 by dash light? Seems pretty basic compared to others I'm looking at. I could use some help here, this is my first toyota and I really like it just had a bummer setback. Oh well! Thanks for your help, Greg
