It is like a reward system. You earn points for logging in and for posting threads. Not sure what you can use your points for, but it is a different way to also look and see if members are more "experienced" on the forums by way of being a member.

In the future we have quite a bit planned around the points system including bumper/window stickers, maybe even hats and tshirts. Nothing is final yet but we're going to try for something in the spring maybe.

I've never been much for gambling at all, the odds are just not worth it at all. At a casino, the best odds (except for poker) is the roulette wheel, and that's a 48/50 chance that you'll loose. It's not even 50/50 ...
