Just crazy, it was over 100F today in north Texas. How can that be, it's September 6th. The average for this day is usually about 10 degrees cooler, but at least we've got some cooler weather on the way.
I've been in the DFW area now for 16 years (last month) and I usually consider the crazy summer heat to finally be over around the time when the overnight low drops below 70 degree. Many years that's the 2nd week of September, looks like that's right on track for this year as well.
