Have a 2021 Sequoia, just went to the Grand Canyon and other place, 6,000 miles, towed a small camper, 3,500lbs dry, no problem! Looking to get a larger camper for another journey, but what weight would be safe? Tow capacity is 7,400lbs.

Welcome to the forum. I myself like to stay a little under the rated tow capacity. That way power and braking is not overloaded.

Thanks Joe, looking at a camper 5,500 lbs.dry, plus 400 lbs for us, plus 100 lbs of gear! So 6,000 lbs total!.?
What are concerns about tongue weight?
