Hi Guy, can you give some opinion specs and model of this truck..

International scout 800, mfg from 1965 to 1969.
Without knowing how its outfitted its hard to give a good opinion.
Scouts of that version could be bought with a base 4cyl 196 which had weak axles and 4spd trans, or it could have a turbovharged 152 CI that had the same axles as the.v8 version.
or a I-6 232 engine, or the 266 v8. The engine really made the truck as most were mfgrd with the 196 that just couldnt get that portly truck out of its own eay.
