High pitched whinning noise in the engine compartment

I would like to know if anyone else has an intermittent whining noise in the engine compartment of their 2014 Tundra or Sequoia? It sort of sounds like the high pitch air noise a diesel truck engine makes when revving up.

Where is the sound coming from? Is it loud at all? Also, under what circumstances do you hear it?

It is coming from the engine compartment on the passenger side.
I hear it all quit often at different speeds but generally on acceleration at all speeds.
My guess is that it is some sort of air intake.

Have you taken it to the shop yet? What did they say?
