just got a 96 pickup 2wd to bang around in 183k miles and runs sooooooooooooooooooo good i want to find a better body with 4wd to put the motor in ( so if anybody knows what other years that engine will fit that woudl be great and TIA)

i live in upstate ny close to canada

Welcome ttc as for your question and I'm just putting this out there I'm think that motor should fit a tacoma up to a 2000 model but don't quote me on that

hey there thanks for ur reply and i lied lol the truck is a 94 not 96 and the tag under the hood says its a 2.4 and the front of the engine says like 22re
