Dies when given gas

It is a 95 Tacoma, 180,000 miles with the 2.7. Idles fine until you give it gas and then it dies. WTH. Can anyone shed some info on what to look at or if this has happened to you. Thx

What kind of gas was pumped? Are you sure it is not contaminated with water or anything?

I think the question is is it the proper gas? Is it diesel, ehtanol, etc.?

The combination of gas and petrol is the main problem for this.
