So when I was a kid, it seems like just about the gold standard for good usable camping "stuff" was the Coleman brand. Now days things are different and people don't seem to care much about keeping their camping supplies and good for a long time, but rather they want stuff that's cheaply built and disposable/replaceable after just a few years of use.
Just thought I would start this thread and those of us who still have and use some of the older Coleman grills, lanterns and other camping supplies can share a list of resources for parts and accessories to keep these great products running.
Coleman Camping Gear on Craigslist - ALL THE TIME!
For example, Coleman literally made millions of units for their product line so you can always find something coming up on Craigslist, every single week in a large metro area you can find dozens of ads for cheap vintage coleman stuff and by spending just a little bit of time to rehab these older units you can save 80% or more on the cost of a new similar unit made in China.
