Clutch issues

My 88 Toyota pick up (3L V6 4x4) starting making a strange Grinding noise when I Push the clutch petal in, would a Clutch pilot bearing be whats causing this? what about a Clutch Release Bearing? Thoughts?

very well could be both or it could be the input shaft baring as well

Check the input shaft bearing. This is usually the culprit when it comes to problems like this.

I would say the clutch pilot bearing. This one usually causes a grinding noise.

I can remember this happened to my office mate once. The culprit is the pilot bearing. He just have it replaced.

In cases of 88 Toyota.. usually, with that age, it is the Shaft bearing.. It is due to the years pf wear and tear.. Imagine, how old is that now?

you can eliminate the grinding noise by taking off with lower rpm .
