I heard in the news about all vehicles requiring back up cameras do to the risk of children getting hurt when people do not see them. Can a back up camera be put on the Toyota 4Runner? Is this option easy to put in?

You can add one in oem (original equipment manufacturer - another way of saying 'factory') but that's going to be expensive.

There are wireless units that you can get added on aftermarket that can be decent.

This is great to know on the wireless units. Do you know about how much they run typically?

Are backup cameras really safer? There are still blind spots and they give people a false sense of security.

Child advocates are pushing hard to make it mandatory on all cars. It may not be perfect, but more visual is better than not from the year to keep our kids safe.

I like sensors instead of the camera actualy. Usually there is a fish eye so you see quite a lot.
