How important do you feel the addition of the paint coat protection film is? I am all for protection, but not real familiar with it. Any comments will be appreciated.
I hear the paint protector film is good for preventing paint chips from small rocks hitting the paint. It makes sense that it will provide some additional protection. Not sure how much this costs, but if it will save you a few years of small chips it would be well worth the investment.
Paint coat protection will leave your truck looking like new a lot longer. It does an excellent job in the winter in preventing paint from getting chipped by small stones.
There has also been some military use of this form of protection. The filming has been placed on helicopter rotors to protect the from sand debris. If it is good for the military, it is good for me.
