90 Pkup 2wd Shocks Any Preference?

I found a low mileage great running1990 2wd pkup recently but it has worn rusty shocks-surfin web shows so many different types/ brands. I drive around town & to work, will never go off road for any lengthy duration & only load light stuff like my bikes & car parts for my rest car. Any recommendations, preferences, experience with shocks for us 2WD owners? Thanx in advance.

I remember a previous neighbor's project on his '94 and got Bilstein shocks on all corner and it did great. Start your search with Bilstein or rancho.

For what you're wanting you can pretty much use any replacement units. Are you going to do the job yourself?

Oh yeh-shocks are ez to change-decided on some Rancho,s due to reputation & clean white & red painted look.
