87 toyota 22re wont run.. would fire up for a couple seconds then die but now nothing

87 22re no spark changed coil and check dist, then changed the ignitor but still nothing bought a used one because a new one is 600...cant figure out whats wrong with it any help would be greatly appreciated

When in doubt check the ground wire for a good connection.

It sounds like it could be a lot of things. It would be best if you'd just take it to a garage and let professional mechanics check it out.

Could you maybe take a video and share it? Is the car starting normally, engine fully turning and everything, and then dies a little bit later? Is everything in the dash lighting up like normal? How full is the gas tank? Has it been sitting for a while or has the vehicle been driven often and this is a sudden issue?
