2012 tacoma cold air intake

Any opinion of the K&N air filter. Is the K&N cold air intake worth investing in?

I don't know about the cold air intake, but I have used some of their parts in the past and I have been generally pretty happy with K&N

I think K&N air filter will be a good thing to invest into.. If you're original air filter breaks down. But I heard, with the new 2012 Toyota models, air filters are built to last.

Air filters aren't built to last. you have to maintain it well, and clean if from time to time.

K&N is a good brand. Although there are plenty of competition out there, K&N air filters already made a name. It's worth your try.

I have a Volant Cold air intake I purchased a couple years ago. It wasnt cheap. It comes with its own air box and a filter similar to the K&N.

The air intake may give you like 2hp. Now if you did some other upgrades like a cat back exhaust etc.... you would get a little closer to 18hp gain. You will get a bit more gas mileage out of it.
