If they're going to make the diesel tundra, I would bet that it would be when they release the 3rd generation tundra in I believe 2014.

Not sure on the earlier tundras, I know the 2nd gen tundras will fit 33s stock. Check with a good tire shop if you have one nearby they might be able to give you a good size to go with.

I've heard about the V8 canyons, I've also heard they still aren't that fast, not like you'd think anyway. Its still a better option than a 5 cylinder. I want to see the tacoma with a 5.7! That would be nasty!

Good info! Let me run this setup by you, on my 07 I had pipes run from factory cats then into an X pipe, then into 2 single in/single out mufflers and exiting at an angle behind rear tires. I liked it and want to do something similar on my 2011 but I'm planning to use a little louder muffler...

2011 tundra 5.7L- combined average about 15mpg, in my 07 I got 20mpg once, all highway on about a 4hr trip.

I'll be going hunting, usually deer hunting but coyotes are pretty common where I hunt a lot and they make good target practice. Also squirrel hunting and some turkey. All I got last year was a red fox. Shot a deer but it was a joint effort with a buddy of mine.

I'm planning on getting steps, probably N-Fabs, they wanted $700 for the ones on it, I can get the exact set they took off installed for $450. That's from the place that installed them for the dealership.
