    I'm working on my 1990 Toyota pickup 3.0 V6, replacing the water pump & timing belt. I'm having difficulties loosening the crankshaft bolt.

    My question is; is the crankshaft bolt left handed or right handed to loosen? To loosen it do I turn clockwise? Or counter-clockwise?
    Any help is very much appreciated. Thank you!
