horn
Hi all, sorry this so late, been busy- as far as the horn go's i did change out the relay. it was behind the fuse box and kick panel. It was a real pain in ass to get at. Also found 2 other problems with the horn. One was a broken wire in a wiring harness under the dask, and the other...
After several calls to toyota, the parts guy at the shop looked it up, he said its inside the truck by the fuses, not under the hood. So ill see what happens.
Yes the horn always did work for the past 2 years i'v owned it. it just stopped working in last 2 weeks. it has only the horns it came with. No add ons. My auto parts guy said its in the engine compartment, but i can not find it anywhere. This is my second T-100 and never had a hron issue...
Yes i saw that online and in a book, the problem is i can not find the horn relay anywhere to change it out. The auto parts guy near my house also told me its under the hood and there isn't anything i can find. Any idea's are welcome. Im pulling out my hair with this one.
Yea thanks, i checked all the fuses under the hood and in the truck, there is no horn relay anywhere listed, in those 2 places. I checked under the dash and all i found was the flasher relay and fuel pump relay. Don't know where the horn relay can be. Look all over the truck.
Any of you T-100 guys out there tell me where to find the horn relay on this truck.
I'vlooked everywhere and i can not find it. I already looked under the hood in that fuse block and the one in the truck on the driver side fuse panel. All the fuses are good. Thats all i see. Do you guy know...
Hey 1 ST-syn i to sell amsoil out here in ny, been doing is for 20 years. Its more of a hobby then a bussiness. Iv use amsoil in all my cars, have amasoil--but in this case i have a 97 toyota pickup with 145,000 miles on it. I only use the high milege oil for it. This oil has many more...
Yes truckrider, for sure i agree with you on this one. may be alot less hassle, im handy but i think if i have someone do it, ill get a warrenty on parts and labor. Guy i work with big into trucks and dose alot of stuff to his truck, so im talking with him also. also depends on the cost.
Yes a good read here, thanks- i have seen that push button electric rear lock switch but that may be somewhat involved for me. Im not good with wires. but the clutch type lockup is good idea but might not fit the rear housing. two both good idea's here.
Can anyone tell me if its possible to change over a rear axle on a 97 T-100 SR5 4x4 to a limited slip. will it fit in the rear housing or do you need to change out the entire axle and diff. I get alot of rear wheel spin in bad weather with a regular rear axle. Like to hear your thoughts on...
I bought the 1997- T-100 SR5 4X4 extra cab- because i liked the full size truck look, with the 3.4 V6 engine that has alot of power, but dose not burn alot of gas. The truck runs and performs well in all conditions. The only down side of this, it dosen't come with many options. For a full size...
I have never seen anything on a 99 T-100. everything online i'v seen is from 1993 to 1998 for that model truck. the 1999 models front end was changed somewhat. More of a rounded off look and toyota started to make a bigger cab. The T-100 only came in a regular cab or extra cab.
