Still around. After a teen driver killed my Maxima I "upgraded" to a RAV4. It's not a truck like my wife's Sequoia, God bless that car.
The other day I went into the dealership for free maintenance and wandered around looking at sticker prices. I'm keeping that Sequoia running!
Well dave, I'm not going to give you a free pass on "centuries of a racist system that murders black and brown people." if you believe this, you need to move past the plantation and on into reality.
Said sincerely and with all honesty. If you continue to drink the kool-aid the media feeds...
Nicely done. Did something like this for my daughter - she had a nook in her bedroom that we re-purposed for a work area, replacing another one of those itty-bitty desks. Because I had walls on either side of the nook, I just screwed in supporting brackets and rested the work surface on them...
Garage - this year's plan for me has two bucket list items: 1) Build a shed. Something large enough for my lawn tractor, mower and yard tools. Solar trickle charger for led lighting and a couple of fans. :) 2) renovate my garage. Epoxy floor, new side door, beadboard and wall trim with 6"...
Truth, pull your kids in and teach them to work with their hands. My youngest son is now 20 and has decided to be a welder. Some of the things he has learned in the last 8 months - things I would panic about - he just looks at me as if I'm clueless. I now happen to be the sole breadwinner in...
Well VOCs aside - I understand - I helped my daughter with a desk that we installed into the wall. Solid hardwood and the water based poly was garbage. If your desktop is not hardwood, poly is not your finish (if just won't matter). Maybe a nice hand rubbed wax...
Do not use water based polyurethane. Can't tell what wood, but stain of your choice and oil based poly. Wait a couple of days before use, but this is the perfect time of year to do it...
It's why I would only by a 2018 RAV4 AWD, and screw the hybrid part. At least we don't have Honda's with gas infiltration into the oil (Honda says it won't affect engine reliability <smirk>) I really miss my 1996 4-Runner with 4WD. I should have never sold it to one of the kids.
Yeah, no, time does not slow down. When your kids hit 15+ they get lives of their own - jobs, more school, activities - time accelerates. My oldest is 39 this year. Not sure how I got middle aged kids :)
If it's an infection - apply antibiotics... when my kids were little, it was before the days of antibiotics for everything. So, 3 days of <some common antibiotic> and happiness. Right now, I have something in my ears too - doesn't hurt but it's like I went to the pool or something.
Garlic - I have the same vehicle with the smaller engine of the two. A year or so ago, I pulled a car trailer with a Mitsubishi Eclipse on it for about 200 miles. I told my daughter not to buy it, but her idiot boyfriend apparently knew more about cars than I did ;) The car comes in at 3500...
You can always pick up a cheap trailer to compensate for the loss of a truck bed. I've been threatened with instant and painful death for suggesting selling of our Sequoia (wife's daily driver, and she has a gun). Except for some really stupid things like insane power mirrors (I have a 2007...
Since you don't have maintenance records, you really need to have a mechanic go over it. Also, I would recommend going out to carcomplaints.com. Looking up the car there, you can get a very interesting statistical history of model versions and their reliability. It's why I bought my 2018 RAV4...
