The item to my right is a camera, so I will blind the zombies with the flash and run away!

The item to my right as Im reading this is a set of fireplace tools, tongs, poker, shovel, bellows, broom, and stand, all made of heavy forged iron.
The poker and shovel get the point and edge sharpened with my ceramic knife sharpener attached to my keys and always in my pocket.
The stand and broom will be used to brain the first couple zombies, as I start moving I'll probably leave them behind as I dont want to carry the extra weight.
The tongs will work great to hold on to zombies to keep a short distance while they get brained or stabbed with the poker or head shoveled off with the shovel.
Might fill the bellows with ashes to blow in their face for momentary confusion.
