Rusted Frames on Toyota Tacomas

I have been noticing a lot of recent complaints regarding rusted frames on Toyota Tacoma pickups, especially the 2002-2003 models. Has anyone on here noticed any rust issues with their Tacoma?

Toyota had a voluntary recall and buy back program for 1996 thru 2004 Tacoma trucks that had frame corrosion.
Buyback offers were contingent on amount of corrosion damage.
Not sure if the programs still open.
I do know the buyback numbers were very low.
Toyota was very generous but most owners prefered to keep their trucks and take a payout.
Avg. Buyback amount was around $10k for 10 year old trucks.

I think someone mentioned that this offer was closed. Not sure I can verify that ... But seems that I read that somewhere.
