Hello all,
Just installed water pump on 3.0 6 cylinder. The new pump has a metal tube coming out of side, about three inches, where thermostat is. Old pump did not have a tube there. Started truck and coolant started dripping out of this tube. I'm trying to figure out what the purpose of this tube is, and, can I just cap this off?
