Is the brake assist available on all models of new Tacomas?

There is a lot of talk about brake assist and I am wondering if this is available on all models of the Tacomas? Or, is it only available on some of them. Also, is brake assist like the anti-lock brake system or is it different?

The 2014 Toyota Tacoma offers break assist

If you don't know how break assist works. It detects how fast your are pressing the break to judge if the driver is planning an emergency stop. If the Toyota Tacoma believes that it is an emergency, it will increase the hydraulic pressure in the braking system.
