The door ajar light won't go off. Both rear passenger doors have lights that go on and off when I press the contact switch. The rear hatch door light also goes on and off with an open close (though I am not sure where the switch is.)
I pulled both front door switches and they are squeeky clean, so I'm having a hard time seeing that any corrosion has caused lost of contact.
The very front personal dome light does not come on whatsoever, and neither do the door lights in the door themselves whether opened or closed, pressing on the contact switch or not.
What could be the cause here?
As a secondary question, the headlights stay on all the time when any door is ajar...so if my kids leave a door open they never go off and drain the battery. And in this case, with the door ajar malfunction, they never go off either. Is there a setting I can change where they will go off eventually?
