2013 Avalon to have wireless charging for devices inside the console

The 2013 Avalon will be the first vehicle to have Qi-enabled wireless charging technology inside the vehicle console. If your phone, tablet, etc is Qi-enabled, then you can just pop it in the console and it'll charge itself! How awesome is that?

That's really convenient. I wish my Tacoma would have that. But I guess, 4 years ago wireless charging was only possible in sci fi movies?

Haha I think it was around. It was still in the beginning stages though so it certainly wasn't being put in cars.

That's definitely a big plus to the 2013 Avalon. It would be very convenient to charge without wires. Hope someone buys me a 2013 Avalon. Please, Santa?
