My RAV4 is having some rusting issues as of late. At the top of the wheel well on the driver's side rear wheel, it's starting to rust considerably. There are even a few small holes and it continues to flake off. What can I do to repair the damage or at least prevent further decomposition?
Ha, yeah. When I was a teenager, one of my close friends had a RAV4. It's great because it's bigger/safer than a small car but still gets good gas mileage and you can pile all your friends inside comfortably. Ever since then, I've just associated the car with teenagers.
It can help, but moreso only in certain locations like very cold/snowy climates. Otherwise, the car should be find on its own and she should just wash the undercarriage monthly. Mudflaps can help too.
I think a grill guard might be something to get custom made, probably at a custom shop or auto body. They could point you in the right direction, at the least.
So..we usually seem to brag about the great things we do with our trucks, and that's awesome, but I think we should take some time to talk about what's wrong with our trucks. Mine has quite a bit, lol, so it'd be nice to know that others have just as many issues.

I'd prefer to have tire+rim, but would also like just a rim (I can pick up a tire but I'm having a hard time finding the right rim). The wheels I have now don't quite clear the front caliper. I need 2, but would take more if anyone has them.
I think she should get the long bed, just to be sure. She could also measure the raft + equipment and the lengths of the short bed/long bed. If the short bed isn't enough, she could maybe get one of those tailgate-extending gates to put on the back.
I think it could also be where you live. Some areas of the world have much harsher elements that take a toll on vehicles quicker and more intensely than other climates. This could just be in my head, but I've seen it more with non-American cars in America than anything. They are made for a...
