Thanks for everyone's response. The frame is good, checked Vin and no recalls. CarFax shows continuous maintenance. Just seemed odd to me that the tow setup would be rusted and nothing else.

It was from NJ so the rust belt is in play. I would not attempt to tow a trailer right now. Looks like it's bolted on so probably dealer installed? I guessing it's probably not covered by any Toyota recall

Hi, first time posting. My 2005 Sequoia tow hitch is rusted rotten with the 5 point outlet completely hanging off. Never been in saltwater Has anyone else had rust issues with the tow package?
