Let's look at the annual sales for the Toyota Tacoma.

These figures shown below are for the US market and the numbers for 2000 to 2018 are generally available, in fact I got these from Wikipedia.

However, the 2019 metrics were just gathered from Toyota Tacoma Sales Figures and I'm giving them here for everyone to review.

Nice to hear that the Taco is growing in sales. Strong economy, lots of need for a truck like this.

When you add in Canada, the numbers are well over 250,000 for 2019. Wow.

Even though the Tacoma has some detractors, it's pretty obvious that there are lots of folks out there who not only like the Tacoma, but prefer it over the other offerings from other carmakers. I only hope that Toyota keeps the off-road focus of the Tacoma and only adds things that really improve the product. We owned an '06 Tacoma for awhile, and there were several "defects" in the truck that had been around for many years without ever being addressed/fixed. IMHO, this shouldn't happen. Thank God for the interweb, as I found fixes for most of these defects.

The Tacoma is an amazing truck, I had to sell mine though as I need more seats and covered space so I moved to to a Highlander. I can see why both get a lot of sales.
