Sure, Toyota may have donated 34 trucks (source) to the San Diego Lifeguards and extended a 4 year old partnership, but it's not just a publicity move. The trucks are set up for the rigors of the job, and when they're called to action, they prove they're the right choice.
When work trucks work, they better be able to get the job done. And if the Tundras, Tacomas, and 4Runners that patrol the beaches of San Diego aren't proof enough that they have the right stuff, what is?
