I'm hoping you can help me out. I'm having trouble figuring out how to price my 1990 pickup for private sale. I wouldn't think a car that old would have any value at all but I'm seeing comps online ranging from $2500 to $14000.
I want to advertise a 1990 Toyota Pickup, base model, 4-on-the-floor, manual windows and locks. 290k.
The radio doesn't work. It is a no-name after-market and rats probably chewed the speaker wires while it was sitting dormant in Arizona. An electrical
shop cleaned it out, rewired everything that was damaged (except the radio), and tuned it up.
The AC has a leak. It took forever to find a shop with the old style freon in stock and then it worked great until the next time I drove it a few weeks later.
That being said, it drives very nicely. The clutch is smooth and the body is in good shape.
