Check with your own automobile insurance company to see if you can get a discount for rv insurance. Unless it's brand new they might require an inspection if you want full coverage. If you're towing it, the trailer becomes part of your tow vehicle, so to speak, so you're covered (unless you have an exclusion for some reason) when you damage someone else's stuff, but check with your policy to see what is covered already before you start looking.
