I need to be able to haul a horse trailer. With a horse in it of course. What are the minimum requirements for a truck to do this?

First you will need to know what the trailer will weight when fully loaded (trailer plus contents). I usually like to add 33% of what the max load will be for a buffer. A truck with a towing package is a big plus. Don't forget a trailer break controller built in or pre wired. If the truck is rated to haul that amount you good to go.

You're going to need a full sized Tundra or Sequoia to do this. Trailer will be 4000 lbs, horses are at least 1500 lbs each, double or single horse trailer? With two you're looking at more weight of course.

You guys know what you’re talking about. I’m not too sure if it would be a one or two horse trailer. Some friends and I were kicking around the idea of getting some horses. That is, if we could find a way to profit off of them.
