Toyota sold over 407,000 RAV4's in 2017

This number just blew me away. In US/North American sales, Toyota sold 407,000 RAV4s in 2017.

Just goes to show that the RAV4 is a total success story.

Toyota RAV4 North American sales were 407,594. That's down, but still solid.

Wifes RAV4 has been absolutely trouble free for 5 years & 55k miles. Just doing 5k oil & filter changes along with air & cabin filters. Biggest complaint being the OEM battery going bad in a year or two. Ours is still running the OEM battery but thinking of switching out as PM service.

The RAV4 went up in size and market segment and they're selling like crazy. I see them all the time now when before you didn't see them as much. I think the numbers speak for themselves. I mean to go from 70,000 to 400,000 per year is pretty incredible. That's nearly 6x the amount of units sold.
