Yes, there is more leg room than the 60-40 seat. The power seat, gives you a lot more adjustment. The passengers side, has the same base as the 40 split seat. I used my OE 40 seat base on the passengers side, and swapped out the top so that the top would have the arm rest, but I can still slide the seat forword to allow access to the rear seat. The drivers side, being power, gives much more leg room. It was plug and play. I could not believe how easy the seat swap was. The only thing that was power before on the drivers side, was power lumbar support. Also there was a bolt on the floor of my truck, that lined up with the rear bolt hole next to the trans tunnel. As for the front hole, I just left that bolt out. It would have been easy enough to drill a hole in the floor there, but the drivers seat is secure so I didnt worry about it. The bucket seats came out of a 95 Tahoe or Suburban I think. I found paper work in the passengers seat that was dated 1995. No need for any special brackets, ect. It was a direct bolt in. These seats are hard to find though. I got lucky at the swap meet to find a set there. I was going to have my original seats recovered, but the fabric is glued to the foam on these seats. I couldnt find anybody in my area that would do the job. Leather, yes, all day long, fabric no way. The leather is not glued to the foam like the fabric is.Nice job. I'v got a 98 GMC Sierra 4x4, do you have more leg room than stock? Did you have to build a base for the seat?
