A couple of photos from our recent trip to Death Valley. This is Titus Canyon, which is a 24 mile off-road, one-way drive. 34 years ago we did this in a Toyota minivan, but the road has really gone to pot since then, and I wouldn't do this drive now in anything but a 4x4 truck with lots of ground clearance. Three BMW bikes passed us, but further down the trail one crashed and sheared off some part on the right side of the engine, ending his ride (no photo). This trail is NOT for a beginner to off-roading.
The photos are in the narrow part of the canyon, where the trail had recently been graded because of storm damage. the upper parts of the trail are horrible.
