Just so sad, looks like they were going forward pretty fast and they essentially exploded in a fireball instantly. At this point it looks like it's all due to fog.

Sad, looks like they almost missed the mountain.

This stands out though. "The chopper did not have a terrain awareness warning system".

Well, maybe something happened to the helicopter as it banked and dropped. Or maybe they were getting near the destination and dropped too early?

Pilot Ara Zobayan had been climbing out of the clouds when the aircraft banked left and began a sudden and terrifying descent that lasted nearly a minute.

“This is a pretty steep descent at high speed,” said Jennifer Homendy of the National Transportation Safety Board. "We know that this was a high-energy impact crash."

They said it was close to 185 MPH when it hit and was in one piece still.
